One way we seek to fulfill our mission of training leaders is by providing opportunities for connection and instruction throughout the year. Focus Retreats are designed for leaders to enjoy times of fellowship, engage in meaningful discussions on ministry-related topics, pray for one another, and collaborate on new initiatives. The goal is for participants to leave feeling refreshed, encouraged, and inspired to continue in Great Commission work.
Focus Retreats are held in regions across the country: Central, East, West, and Alaska. These gatherings typically follow a three-day format, with accommodations and meals included, and are focused on a central theme.
This Year’s Retreats
Followers of Jesus continue His mission. We are His witnesses, expanding on His work by the Spirit, through prayer, and amid suffering. During our Focus Retreat sessions, we will reflect on these themes from the book of Acts as we see how the story that began with the early church continues through us today. We will discuss the power of testimony, spiritual discernment, and Gospel partnership. We’ll dedicate extensive time to prayer, Bible study, and honest conversation. Our time together will reassure us of the good work Christ does through us.
